Collectively, these steps aim to increase agricultural resilience to increasingly extreme climate change. Farmer education and training are also very important in dealing with drought. Educating farmers about sustainable farming techniques and how to effectively manage water resources can help increase crop yields in difficult conditions. Various government agencies and NGOs have launched training programs to help farmers adapt to these new conditions. The government also plays an important role in creating policies that support innovation in agriculture. Subsidies for water-efficient agricultural technology, development of irrigation infrastructure, and protection for farmers affected by drought can help reduce the negative impacts experienced by the agricultural sector. The global community must also raise awareness about the challenges of drought and its impact on food security.
